COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Due to a water line installation project for the new restroom facility in Garden of the Gods Park, parking lot two, which provides access to the Central Garden area, will be temporarily closed to visitors Monday-Friday (June 24-28). During this time, visitors are encouraged to utilize one of the other 15 available parking areas located throughout the park.

Shuttle service is available to the Central Garden area from parking lot one, which is located near the park’s main entrance at Gateway Road and 30th Street. The complimentary shuttle also stops at the Garden of the Gods Visitor and Nature Center and Rock Ledge Ranch Historic Site.

The new, fully-plumbed restroom facility, which broke ground in March, is expected to be complete in the beginning of August. The facility is expanding from four lavatories to 12 and will also feature a drinking water and water bottle filling station as well as improved accessibility.
